Let me show you how to view the tax returns, sam76.
The Taxes section of QuickBooks Online is where all tax related transactions are being processed. From there, we can also view your tax returns for both sales and payroll tax.
For payroll tax returns:
From the Taxes tab, select Payroll Tax.
Click on View tax payments you have made.
For sales tax returns:
Go to the Taxes tab and select Sales Tax.
From the Shortcuts panel, click on Look at past returns.
We also have Transaction Detail by Account report we can pull up. This will show all payments you've made. Let's just filer it by transaction type. For the detailed steps, you can refer to this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
