We have Intuit for payroll.
When I go to https://qbo.intuit.com/app/payroll/reports/tax-liability
Where do I quickly find the reports, listed below:
We have QB desktop. Intuit is NOT linked to our QB.
1) 941 quarterly, 940 Annual, DE9 & De9C Quarterly, W3?
2) Any time saving tips?
3) What phone number should I call for support on this, someone else calls in payroll.
What verifying informaation are they going to ask?
I do NOT want a referral to a QB ProAdvisor.
So appreciate the help! Thank you!
Welcome to the Community, NameUser.
The link you provided is designed for QuickBooks Online users. Let me guide you on accessing the forms you need (941, 940, DE9, DE9C, and W-3) in QuickBooks Desktop.
If you're filing Forms 941 and 940 forms in QuickBooks Desktop, you'll nee to follow steps outlined in these articles:
Note: The steps may vary depending on your payroll subscription.
Similarly, filing DE9 and DE9C forms will also require setting up the e-file and e-pay features in QuickBooks Desktop. This article will guide you through the process: E-file and e-pay state forms and taxes in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced
As for Form W-3, there's no need to file if you have already submitted W-2s electronically within QuickBooks Desktop, or if we have filed them on your behalf. You can use this link for reference: File your W-2 and W-3 forms
To review previously filed forms, we cam follow the instructions provided in this article. Keep in mind that the steps may differ based on your payroll subscription: View your previously filed tax forms and payments
Meanwhile, here are the time-saving tips I can share for filing forms in QuickBooks Desktop:
I'm unable to provide a direct phone number for our Live Support Team, but you can refer to this article for steps on how and when to contact them: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.
Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or have additional questions. We're here to help.
Thank you!
I so appreciate your help!!!!
Let me clarify.
The payroll reports are not linked to our QB.
We go online and obtain them, and manually input them.
We go here to obtain reports (I'm sure). https://qbo.intuit.com/app/payroll
Once I'm at the above where do I go to find Payroll Reports 941 quarterly, 940 Annual, DE9 & De9C Quarterly, W3.
Again, I need to find the reports at the site NOT in QB.
Again, we go here to obtain the information https://qbo.intuit.com/app/payroll
I am not seeking a referral to QB proadviser.
Thank you!
Hello there, @NameUser.
Thank you for providing more details. I understand the importance of accessing payroll tax reports, such as the 941, 940, DE9, DE9C, and W-3, for your business.
Based on your description, it appears that you're managing your payroll and e-filing of federal and state forms using QuickBooks Online Payroll. I will guide you through the steps to locate these forms directly within QuickBooks Online Payroll. Here’s how:
Moreover, if you're referring to actual payroll reports to generate the relevant forms, you can pull up certain payroll reports that show the total and taxable wages that are subject to federal and province/region/state withholding. To do this, go to Reports, and then scroll down to the Payroll section and select the Payroll Tax and Wage Summary or Payroll Summary report.
In your original post, you mentioned time-saving tips. To offer a more targeted response, feel free to click on the Reply button to share more details about it, and we'll be here available to help.
