Did you receive an error when trying to download your 1099s? If you're a contractor that was invited by your employer, you can freely access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and view and print your Form 1099.
If you're unable to view it, a browser-related issue might have caused the unexpected behavior. You can try logging into your account and check your forms through a private browser. You'll want to use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
If you're able to successfully save it, you can switch back to your main browser and clear the cache. Alternatively, you can access your account to other supported browsers.
In whatever way you're still unable to manage your forms, you can ask your client or employer for a copy or let them invite you again using an active email address.
