Why am I enrolled in both QuickBooks Online Payroll Core and QuickBooks Online Essentials?

Let me help you sort issues with account billing, @john97.

 

You may have accidentally subscribed to the online payroll service in the Payroll menu. If you haven't click this option, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support team to check the amounts on your account billing.

 

It's best to get them to assist you since they can also process a refund, especially when you're not using the payroll service subscription, and review your QuickBooks account billing amounts. Though, you can cancel the payroll subscription by hand.

 

Here's how to reach our Payroll Support team:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to Help on the top right.
  2. Type talk to a human and then enter your concern like cancel payroll and get a refund.
  3. Select I still need a human.
  4. Click Get help from a human.
  5. Choose Callback or Chat.
