Why is workforce telling my employees they either the have been deleted or can not choose their own name when trying to enter their time on a timehseet?

No one has made any changes to their accounts. On the employer end, all employees are active and no Changes have been made. This is aftecting all 7 of my employees.

Why is workforce telling my employees they either the have been deleted or can not choose their own name when trying to enter their time on a timehseet?

Excessive data build-up or an outdated Workforce app version can contribute to the issue your workers are encountering, FrostPond.

 

To handle the situation, I recommend letting your employees clear their QuickBooks Workforce app's data. This eliminates utilities that can affect the app's performance. They can follow the instructions below to proceed.

 

iPhone devices:

 

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Choose General and select iPhone Storage.
  3. Locate and pick the QuickBooks Workforce app from the list.
  4. Tap the Offload App option. Doing so hides the app and refreshes its data while retaining essential information.
  5. Unhide the QuickBooks Workforce app from the App Store.

 

Android devices:

 

  1. Open your device's Settings.
  2. Choose Applications or App Manager (depending on the device).
  3. Locate and select the QuickBooks Workforce app from the list.
  4. Tap on Storage, then Clear Data.

 

If they still encounter the same error, I recommend updating the app to its latest release from the Google Play Store or App Store. They can also uninstall and reinstall it if the problem persists.
