You can not run payroll at this time: FullServiceSetupNotComplete

Once you're subscribed to Intuit Full Service Payroll, we do most of the setup for you, Operation-gdhd.

I'd suggest reaching out to our payroll support. This way, an agent can check your account and verify if the setup is done. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Unable to run payroll. Error: Full Service setup not complete" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback

When it's all good, you can already run the payroll.

Although, if the setup is complete, this unexpected behavior can be caused by too much cache. We'll have a few steps to fix it.

Start with opening QuickBooks Online through a web browser. This is the best place to isolate web issues. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you're able to run the payroll using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This fixes and prevents issues like this.

Also, you can use a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla.

Feel free to swing by if you need our help. We're open 24/7 to help you.
