I called in to support the other day as well about this...it's imperative to get this fixed asap and establish a process to get corrections made for prior pay periods. Or provide guidance on exactly how this will be rectified.
Thanks for joining us here, s_mcleod.
Our engineers and compliance team are still working on getting the option to defer Social Security taxes when paying the 941 taxes. According to the latest bulletin, QuickBooks will be rolling out updates in the next few weeks to ensure you’re compliant and use these credits correctly.

Now that your employee's tax payments are deferred, you can get back to running your business with ease. You may find this article about tracking your deferral payments helpful too.
I'm only a few clicks away if you have any other questions. Take care.
Is this only referring to the CARES act provision for the deferral of social security tax, but NOT to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)? There was a problem where those paid leave wages were calculating employer social security tax incorrectly. Will that be fixed??
Thanks for following up on this thread, @UMDJeremy.
That's a great question. As of right now, the deferral of social security is available for the CARES act provision and FFCRA specifically.
For the time being, I'd like to provide a few articles about the Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) that may be helpful. You can check them out here:

Thank you, so on my 4/15 payroll, I noticed a problem with the FFCRA credits, no tax credit was being generated for Employer's share of Medicare tax on the paid leave and QBO payroll was calculating employer social security tax on the paid leave when this wasn't supposed to occur. I do see that this has been fixed if I try to run a payroll now (I called support and apparently many others did too). However how can I get the 4/15 pay period fixed? Do I need to call full service payroll support to have them do a payroll tax correction?
