How do i issue an roe for an employee that is being quarantined for 2 weeks with the corona virus?

Hi there, 

 

I'm sorry to learn that one of your employees is affected by the COVID-19. I hope you're staying safe and protected during these difficult times. In the meantime, I'd be glad to show you how to create an ROE in QB Online. 

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll powered by Wagepoint click this link here.

 

Otherwise, here's how to generate an ROE using Standard Payroll:

  1. Select Employees from the left.
  2. Adjust the drop down menu to show All Employees.
  3. Select the desired employee from the list.
  4. Select the edit pencil next to Employment.
  5. From the Status drop-down menu, change the employee's status from Active to Terminated.
  6. Select Reason for Status Change and enter the appropriate termination date.
  7. Select Done.
  8. A pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to create the employee's Record of Employment. Select Yes.
