PPP acceptance email missed

We applied for and where accepted for a PPP loan. The acceptance email ended up in our SPAM folder. When we found it we were told the offer had expired (6 days). We applied via a different lender and were told that the SBA said we had already been approved for a PPP loan and they could not help. How do we move the QB loan forward or get it removed so the other lender can help?

Hey, baeher-new.

You can check the status of your application in the QuickBooks Capital dashboard to confirm the update you received. If a Paycheck Protection Program app is approved but not accepted within the allotted time frame, it may be cancelled. This shouldn't affect your ability to apply through a different lender.

Since you've received confirmation that your loan request was closed due to the offer expiring, you can reapply if you'd like to. Intuit has begun accepting new applications. You can find detailed steps on how to apply in the following resource: Start an application for a PPP loan

If you have any other questions, feel welcome to reach out to me anytime. Enjoy the rest of your day!

The other lender approved the loan and passed to the SBA. The SBA rejected the application stating "

  • Your application was rejected by the Small Business Administration (SBA) because there is already a PPP application for the applicant."

Once a loan is submitted the SBA is noticed that that EIN has a loan in progress, thereby blocking any other loan request.

I resubmitted the request through QB again. I'll see what happens

Thanks for the additional detail, baeher-new.

That's great to hear you've reapplied through QuickBooks. Like with your first application, Intuit will communicate any major updates through email, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox.

If you experience the same issues that you did with the other lender, you could contact the SBA and let them know your original app was approved but then cancelled due to expiring before you could accept the funds.

Let me know how it goes for you. I'll be here to help if you have any questions.
