PPP Loan Applied for before deadline but after weeks of saying pending now says unable to process loan since its after due date???!!!
I applied for a PPP loan for my client back on August 5th through Quickbooks online ppp portal with Quickbooks Capital who was approved as a PPP lender by the SBA. The deadline to file was by August 8th. Quickbooks took his application and had all the required documentation because he does his payroll through QBO. So why after weeks of saying pending does he get an email stating that the application could not be processed because it was after the due date??? It was submitted 3 days before the due date. My client trusted that Quickbooks would process his ppp application because they accepted it prior to the deadline and they kept saying they were processing it. They never reached out for any additional information or anything. Has this happened to anyone else? My client is furious as rightfully so he should be and says if there are others they should join a class action suit. You try to reach out to QB but they have no idea who to connect you through. Very embarrassing for me since I was the one who recommended this client to QB and to their PPP program.
