I completed the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loan application a few days ago. Does anyone know where to find the status in the Self-Employed dashboard?
Hey there, elcapitan888. Thanks for bringing this question to the Community. We're here to help.
After you've submitted a Paycheck Protection Program application, we'll contact you via email and in product once we have an update for you.
You can also manually check the status by accessing the Capital dashboard from within your books. Inside of QuickBooks Self-Employed, you'll see an option titled Capital which can be used to access QuickBooks Capital and view the status of any loan applications that were submitted through there.
Here's a couple resources that provide further information about checking the status of a PPP application submitted through Intuit:
I'll be here to help if you have any questions. Have yourself a great day!
Thanks for following up with this information, elcapitan888.
I appreciate the screenshot you provided. That's helpful for me to see what you're experiencing when looking for the Capital option in your books. Our article on how to apply for a Paycheck Protection Program loan within QuickBooks Capital details that you can check the status of your application by signing into QuickBooks and visiting the QuickBooks Capital dashboard. With all of the recent changes, we're doing our best to keep our articles up-to-date with accurate information for everyone.
If you're still not able to find the Capital dashboard in QuickBooks Self-Employed, I'm here to help. I've gone ahead and sent you a private message where we can discuss the status of your application further. I'll be looking forward to assisting you there.
Hello, Ryank36. Welcome to the Community! We're happy to have you here.
QuickBooks Capital is what you originally accessed to fill out the Paycheck Protection Program application inside of Self-Employed. Whether you check the status in the Capital area or not, anyone who applied through Intuit will be receiving emailed communication about any news regarding their PPP loan app. I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox for any correspondence from us about this.
If you're having trouble accessing the Capital dashboard from within your books and still haven't received an email going over the status of your application, I've got a solution for you. I sent a private message your way where we can discuss this in greater detail.
I no longer have access to my the email I initially applied with, all correspondence has been sent there,so I haven't received an updat. I too cannot find the Capital button on the Quickb Self-Employed page
Thanks for joining the thread, @rm522s.
I know accessing you email and viewing the capital tab is essential, but not to worry. I'm sending you a private message on here to discuss your loan status for your privacy.
Make sure to check your message notifications for a PM from me. Enjoy your weekend!
Hi there, lfuentes515. You've come to the right place. The Community is here to help.
Once you've submitted an application through the Paycheck Protection Program, status updates will be communicated through in-product notifications and emails. We'll contact you using the email address you applied with.
If you haven't received any new information from Intuit yet, that means there's no news about your application at the moment. Once we have an update to provide, we'll send you an email to notify you what's going on.
