PPP, warning

Just a warning to fellow QB users. I submitted my application through QB for my PPP loan 9 days ago. I kept checking for an update and all I could see was that QB received my application and was working to submit the application to SBA and to check back later, or look for an email. I was getting concerned because the deadline is fast approaching and I will lose about $30k if this isn't done. So I started a chat with a QB rep and we went back and forth. Finally she asked if I received any error prompts or codes after submitting. I explained that no, I did not. I attached pics of the conversation (if they load). And I was told "rest assured it was submitted"... Well guess what.. It wasn't submitted. Late last night I received an email stating that I had to run reports and upload them. I did that first thing this morning. If I wouldn't have questioned this, would I be out my PPP money? Come on QB, you can do better than this. What a disaster.

  2. Enter your account information.
  3. Click the Submit button.

I followed the link and requested information on my application. The agent asked for my email and said he was checking on it. Then he asked me what information QB requested from me last night. Then he told me to submit it. When I told him it was submitted this morning, he said "you should be good to go". So I asked for a guarantee that the application wold be submitted to SBA on time. Of course he could not guarantee this but he said " I'd imagine that you are good". Then "Again, that is not a guarantee; but that is what I'm thinking." I have pics of the whole conversation. Did he really check, I doubt it. He knew nothing about anything

So who knows if this will ever be submitted. Horrible experience. Just horrible and it will probably cost me $30k.

Thanks for getting back to our forum, @jrbrown,

 

You'll know when the application is successfully submitted if you received a notification saying it is being reviewed and received.

 

Besides checking Capital for updates, you can also check the Payroll Center for the current status of the loan. This will be the place where you'll find the notifications, updates, and any other information you may need about your Paycheck Protection Program loan.

 

See this:


 

A confirmation email is also sent to you once it is approved. If you can't find it, search for [your amount] from the Paycheck Protection Program for you in your inbox. Make sure you check the spam folder too.

Thank you Jen.

I'm aware checking the status. I had checked it for 8 days and each day it was the same generic message stating that it was received and being reviewed. I became concerned after these 8 days that there was no change, no emails, nothing, that's when I reached out to support who ultimately told me that the application was submitted to SBA. Hours later I received an email asking for more information, as it turned out, the application was still not submitted. For some reason support mislead me. So this morning I submitted the information and have just asked for someone to make sure the application would truly be submitted. The support I received a few hours ago was pretty much useless. I don't believe anyone has looked anything up, they just tell me what they think I want to hear to end the conversation.  I can not get that guarantee from anyone and it's very frustrating. The window of opportunity is closing and no one will honestly help me.

I finally received an email stating the application has ben accepted. 

Thank you to everyone who helped. I was very anxious because I didn't seem to he getting the help I needed. Again thank you to those who worked to make this happen for us.
