Chat with our in-product Digital Assistant: Select the help icon Help inside your QuickBooks product to get instant, automated answers from our Digital Assistant. You can also use the search function to find specific help articles and guides.

Explore the QuickBooks Support Site: Explore our central QuickBooks Support site for detailed articles, video guides, and tutorials.

Join the QuickBooks Community: Have a question? Chances are, another customer has asked for it, too. Get advice and share solutions with thousands of other QuickBooks users and our team of experts in the Community forum.

Connect with a support expert

If you can't find what you need in our self-help resources, you can connect with our support team. The best way to do this is directly from your product.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Select the help icon Help.
  3. Select one of the following options to get help:
    • Assistant tab:
      1. Enter your question in the Type or ask something field.
      2. Select one of the answers or the options, which the QuickBooks Assistant provides.
      3. If you still need help, enter contact a human and follow the prompts till you see an option to request a callback or start a live chat with an expert.
    • Search tab:
      1. Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field.
      2. Select an appropriate article from the list of related articles.
      3. Scroll down to select the Contact Us button and follow the prompts.

This will show you the current estimated wait times, so you can choose the option that works best for you.

QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation

Please be aware that all QuickBooks Desktop products and services, including support and VAT submissions for Making Tax Digital (MTD), have been discontinued in the UK. The software is no longer compliant with HMRC regulations.

QuickBooks Online Accountant and Intuit Accountant Suite

To get help with QuickBooks Online Accountant or Intuit Accountant Suite, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant / Intuit Accountant Suite.
  2. Select Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Type a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  5. Choose your preferred contact method:
    • Schedule Callback: Request a call from an Intuit Expert at a time that works for you.
    • Start a Chat: Connect with an Expert via live chat.
    • Get a Phone Number: Call our support team directly.
    • Submit an Offline Request (Accelerate only): Submit an asynchronous product support ticket for your firm or a client without waiting for a live agent. Track its status in the Resolution centre and engage with experts via email communication.
QuickBooks Online Accountant and AccountantGold tier and above
- Monday–Friday: 4 AM–8 PM PT
- Saturday: 6 AM–4 PM PT
- Sunday: 8 AM–2 PM PT

Silver tier

QuickBooks mobile app

To get help with QuickBooks mobile app, follow these steps:

For Android:

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
  2. Tap Menu 𓃑 , then tap Help.
  3. Tap Help and Support. Then, you can either
    1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
    2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.

For iOS:

  1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
  2. Tap Menu 𓃑 , then tap Help.
  3. Tap one of the following options to get help:
    1. Articles and support:
      1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
      2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.
    2. Ask QB assistant a question:
      1. Enter your question in the text field. QuickBooks Assistant will provide answers or options.
      2. Connect with an expert: If you still need help, type: Talk to an expert. Then, select one from Callback, Chat, or Ask the community.
