About your SMS report

The SMS report includes an overview, a Monitor performance section, and a Recipient details section. The information in your SMS report is specific to your SMS Marketing program’s sending country.

SMS overview

The SMS overview includes the following information about your text message.

  • The date and time your text message was sent.
  • The name of your text message.
  • The number of recipients.
  • The phone number used to send the text message.
  • The audience you sent your text message to.
  • The amount of SMS credits used.
  • A preview of your text message.

In the SMS Preview section, click View full message to view the text message and any media.

SMS credits are deducted from your available balance for each SMS and MMS that you attempt to send. To optimize your SMS credits, we suggest that you maintain an engaged SMS audience.

Monitor performance

The Monitor performance section displays 4 key engagement metrics with rates shown in percentages.

  • Sent
The number of subscribed contacts a message was sent to.
  • Delivery rate
The percentage of messages that were successfully delivered to a recipient.
  • Click rate
The percentage of successfully delivered messages that registered a click.
  • Unsubscribed rate
The percentage of subscribed contacts who unsubscribed from a successfully delivered message.

If you have a connected Shopify store, you can also include e-commerce metrics.

  • Revenue
The money attributed to an SMS, minus taxes and shipping fees.
  • Orders
A count of the orders placed by customers, including refunded or canceled orders.
  • Average order revenue
The amount of revenue divided by the number of orders.

To choose a different metric to display, click Edit, click the metric you want to replace, then choose a new metric from the drop-down. When you're satisfied, click Save.

Recipient details

The Recipient details section includes the following information about your SMS recipients.

  • Phone number
The mobile number of the recipient.
  • First name
The first name of the recipient.
  • Last name
The last name of the recipient.
  • Location

  • Clicks
The number of recipients who clicked any tracked link, any number of times, in a single message.
  • Delivered
“Yes” in this column means the message was successfully delivered. “No” means the message bounced.
  • Unsubscribed
The number of recipients who opted out of receiving further messages within 24 hours of the message being sent.

Click the Filter by: drop-down to view a list of recipients for a specific metric.
NO ALT-filter-by-unsubscribed
