Learn how to use the new features in QuickBooks Desktop 2024.

The new features in QuickBooks Desktop 2024 R9 or later help you view and manage your reports. This includes zoom, search, and collapse/expand rows. Here's how.

Zoom your reports in or out

This feature helps you find reports and change the size for a better view.

1. Open QuickBooks then, select Reports.
2. Find and select the report you want to view.
3. Select the Zoom ▼ dropdown then, select the zoom level you want.
   Tip: You can press Ctrl + ‘+’ or Ctrl + ‘-’ on your keyboard to zoom in and out of reports.

Search items in your reports

This feature helps you find data in your reports faster.

1. Enter the search item in the Look for field.
2. Select Search.
   Note: All search matches will be highlighted. You can use arrows to move between them.
3. Select Reset to go back. This brings the report to its default view.

Collapse and expand rows in your Inventory reports

This feature is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2024 R9 or later.

1. Go to Reports then, select Inventory.
2. Select the inventory report you want to view.
3. Select Collapse Rows to see the report in one line.
4. Select Expand Rows.
   Note: You can select the ▼ arrow on each row to expand subcategories one at a time.
5. Select the Print ▼ dropdown then, select Report.
6. Select Preview to view your customized report.
