Learn how to set up POSX XP8200 pole display for QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 19.0.

The POSX pole display shows your customer the price of an item. Your customer will feel more confident about their purchase and know exactly how much you charge. Here’s how to set it up.

  1. Select File, then select Hardware Setup Wizard.
  2. Select Customer Pole Display.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the device driver and set up your pole display.
  4. Select Test Pole Display and make sure the device shows the test message.
    1. If it works, you can customize a message your customers can see between sales.
    2. If it doesn’t work, follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot.
  5. Select Leave to exit the Hardware Setup Wizard.
