Integrate QuickBooks Time and Square

Note: After November 19, 2020, timesheets and employees will no longer be imported to QuickBooks Time from Square. Check out our other integration options.

If you have pre-existing QuickBooks Time and Square accounts, follow these steps to link them. If you have a Square account but have not yet created a QuickBooks Time account, see How to Set Up a QuickBooks Time Account and Link it to Square.

  1. In QuickBooks Time, in the left menu, go to Feature Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.
  2. Scroll down to Square, and select Install.
  3. Select Connect to Square.
  4. In the Square window, sign in.
  5. Back in the "First we need to connect to Square" window, select Next.
  6. Continue making your selections, selecting Next after each, and finally, select Close.
