About the guided setup call

In a guided setup call, you’ll learn how to complete key setup tasks and get ready to run your first payroll:

• Review your business info
• Add your first employee
• Set up your payroll taxes
• Connect your bank account

Get started

If you’ve signed up for QuickBooks Online Payroll Core or Premium in the past 30 days and haven’t run your first payroll, you’re eligible for a guided setup call with a payroll expert. To get started, follow these steps:

1. Go to QuickBooks Online.
2. Select Payroll then Overview.
3. Look for the expert setup section.
4. Follow the on-screen steps to set up an appointment with a payroll expert.
