Export Contacts from Email Address Books

When you have contacts stored in another location, you may want to export them to a CSV or tab-delimited text file, so you can import them into Mailchimp. The way to export your contacts depends on the application you're using. No matter where your contacts come from, you must have explicit permission before you add them to your audience as contacts.

Export contacts from Google Contacts
If your subscribers are stored in Google Contacts, export them as a CSV file to import them to your audience in Mailchimp. To import a portion of your Google Contacts, export a selection of your contacts from Google as a CSV file before you import to your Mailchimp audience.
Export contacts from GoDaddy
If you use GoDaddy's Workspace Email, you can export your contacts to a CSV file. GoDaddy's help center suggests that if you use Workspace Webmail 6.0, to first switch to Classic View.

Export contacts from Thunderbird
If you use Mozilla's Thunderbird Address Book, make sure to choose the CSV or tab-delimited text file format when you export your contacts.
