Print checks in Full Service Payroll

If you have Intuit Full Service Payroll or QuickBooks Full Service Payroll, you can print any paychecks that you have processed.

Note: Intuit Full Service Payroll and QuickBooks Full Service payroll support preprinted QuickBooks-compatible laser voucher check stock with the company name and bank information already printed on it. QuickBooks-compatible preprinted check stock can be purchased at Intuit Market. Intuit Full Service Payroll and QuickBooks Full Service Payroll do not support blank check stock.

Intuit Online Payroll Full Service

Print Paychecks

To print paychecks only from the last payroll:

  1. From the Home tab, in the Recent Payments section, select the most recent pay date.
  2. Select Print paychecks.
  3. Select the checks to print and then select Print.
  4. A .pdf will open with ready-to-print paychecks. Select the print icon to print on to your preprinted check stock.

To print paychecks from a custom date range:

  1. Select the Reports tab.
  2. On the right, under Print Paychecks, select Print Paychecks And Pay Stubs.
  3. From the Date Range drop-down, choose the desired date range or select Custom and enter a custom date range.
  4. Select Run Report.
  5. Select the checks you'd like to print, then Print.
  6. A .pdf will open with ready-to-print paychecks. Select the print icon to print on to your preprinted check stock.

QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service

To print paychecks

Note: QuickBooks can only print paychecks for those employees who received checks, and pay stubs for those employees who received Direct Deposits.  These options cannot be changed.

If you need to align check stock or change the paycheck and pay stub printing settings (including the voucher style) see Align preprinted check stock.

  1. Select Paycheck list.
    1. Go to the Payroll menu, then select Employees.
    2. Under Run Payroll, select Paycheck list.

    You can also access the Paycheck list link from the Reports tab. Select the Reports tab and make sure the All Reports tab is chosen.  Select the Manage Payroll link then scroll to locate the Paycheck List link.

  2. Under Date Range, select the drop-down menu and choose the option that includes the check date you are trying to print.
  3. Select Run Report.
  4. Put a check on the paychecks/pay stubs you want to print.
  5. Select the Print button.
  6. A .pdf will open with ready-to-print paychecks. Select the print iconto print on to your preprinted check stock.
