Delete products and their variants in QuickBooks Commerce

A product refers to the goods that you have in your inventory. Here’s how to delete products and their variants from your inventory.

Delete products

Here’s how to delete products one at a time and in bulk.

Note: Deleted products will still show on past sales and purchase orders.

Delete products one at a time

  1. Go to Inventory, then select Products.
  2. Double-click the product you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete Product.
  4. Select Yes, Delete Product.

Delete products in bulk

  1. Go to Inventory, then select Products.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the products you want to delete.
  3. From the Bulk Actions dropdown menu, select Delete Products.
  4. Enter the displayed confirmation word to proceed.

Delete variants

Variants are groups of the same product categorized by specific attributes such as size, color, material, and price. Learn how to delete variants through Bulk Actions. 

  1. Go to Inventory, then select Products.
  2. Double-click the product whose variants you want to delete.
  3. Select the variants you want to delete.
  4. From the Bulk Actions dropdown menu, select Delete Variants.
  5. Select Delete to delete the variant/s.
