Learn how to fix Shopify errors in QuickBooks Commerce.
|QuickBooks Commerce is no longer available for purchase as a stand-alone product.|
The features referred to in this article are only relevant for customers who still have QuickBooks Commerce bundled with their QuickBooks Online subscription.

If you encounter errors when working in Shopify, don’t worry. We’ll show you the different Shopify errors, and what you can do to fix them.
|Could not update variants to||Select Ignore in the error message.|
|Exceeded maximum number of variants allowed||QuickBooks Commerce has a limit of 99 variants per product. If you exceed this limit, what you can do is split the variants across multiple products. This reduces the number of variants per product to less than the limit.|
|Failed. Response code = 423. Response message = Locked (This store is unavailable).||If you get this error, it means Shopify has locked the store. |
To find out what happened, contact Shopify.
|Fulfilled quantity for must be less than or equal to the fulfillable.||Change the quantity on the fulfillment line item to less than or equal to the fulfillable line item quantity.|
|Image URL failed to download. - timeout reached. Make sure the file can be downloaded successfully.||To re-sync the image with Shopify, select Retry in the error message.|
The pixel limit is 20 megapixels. Resize your image and upload it again.
The uploaded image is corrupt and cannot be processed. Please try a different image.
|Whenever you upload images to your products/variants, make sure to follow this guidelines:|
◘Max dimension of 2048px by 2048px
◘Max size of 2MB
We process product images at:
◘Thumbnail - 120px
◘Medium - 320px
◘Large - 720px
◘Original - Full size
|Options is invalid and Name of Option is not unique||Make sure there are no duplicate option labels in the product. Then select Retry in the error message.|
|cannot be imported because a currency with the does not exist in your account. Please go to Settings and add the missing currency.||To fix this, check and set up your currencies in QuickBooks Commerce.|
1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Configuration.
2. Select Currencies.
3. Set up a currency if it’s missing.
4. Select Retry in the error message.
|Return for cannot be created because the order was created before the integration.||Select Ignore in the error message.|
If you want to receive the items back to your inventory, create a stock adjustment in QuickBooks Commerce.
|You can't fulfill an order on Shopify that has been packed or fulfilled in QuickBooks Commerce.||You can manually ship the order in QuickBooks Commerce. But you’ll also need to fulfill the order in QuickBooks Commerce or in Shopify.|
|Name cannot contain the character sequence ‘/’||Remove the slash symbol (/) from the product or variant’s name. Select Retry in the error message.|
