Email receipts and bills to Intuit Enterprise Suite
Learn how to email or upload your expense receipts and bills to Intuit Enterprise Suite. We’ll read each one and suggest the project it belongs to.
When a receipt or bill comes in, Intuit Enterprise Suite uses AI to read its details, including each line item. It creates the transaction for you and suggests the right project. You review each suggestion, so you always have the final say.
| Note: Coming from QuickBooks Desktop? You don’t need to type a project name on every uploaded expense anymore. Intuit Enterprise Suite scans your forwarded accounts payable emails and receipts, then suggests the correct project tag for your review. |
How automatic project tagging works
Intuit Enterprise Suite compares the details on each receipt or bill to your projects. It reads line-item details, like what was purchased and for how much, to find the best match.
Suggested projects are just that: suggestions. Each one appears in your inbox for review. You can accept it or choose a different project. Nothing is final until you review it.
| Note: Automatic project tagging is available in Intuit Enterprise Suite in the United States. |
Send receipts and bills to Intuit Enterprise Suite
There are two ways to get receipts and bills into Intuit Enterprise Suite: forward them by email, or upload the files.
Forward receipts and bills by email
You can forward accounts payable emails, like vendor bills or emailed receipts, straight to Intuit Enterprise Suite.
Find the email that contains the receipt or bill. The details can be in an attachment or in the email itself.
Forward the email to your forwarding email address.
We’ll take care of the rest. Intuit Enterprise Suite creates the transaction, fills in details like the vendor, date, amount, and line items, and suggests a project.
Upload receipt and bill files
You can also upload receipt and bill files directly in Intuit Enterprise Suite. Uploaded files get the same treatment: we read the details and suggest a project for your review.
