Copy data to a different transaction type in QuickBooks Online
by Intuit•2• Updated 5 days ago
Learn how to copy your data to a different transaction type in QuickBooks Online.
The new copy feature helps you duplicate transactions or copy data to a different transaction type. For example, when you copy from an expense to an invoice, only the item details are copied, because invoices don't use categories.
Important: You can copy Expense, Check, Bill, Purchase Order, and Vendor Credits to other transaction types. Bank deposits, and transfers can’t be copied to other transaction types as of the moment. As for the Sales forms (Invoices, Sales Receipts, and Estimates), these only support the duplicate feature as of this moment.
