Change or Update the "Return to Our Website" Button

On signup form and thank you pages, you'll see a button that says "return to our website." It appears on the Signup "thank you" page, the Unsubscribe success page, the Update Profile "thank you" page, and the Unsubscribe Reason Survey landing page. On the Confirmation "thank you" page, the button reads "Continue to our website."

In this article, you'll learn how to change the destination URL of the button, and how to edit the button's default text.

Change destination URL

  1. Click Audience.
  2. Click Audience dashboard.
  3. If you have more than one audience, click the Audience drop-down and choose the one you want to work with.
  4. Click the Manage Audience drop-down and choose Settings.
  5. Click Required email footer content.
  6. Under the Website URL heading, input the website URL to send subscribers to, and click Save.

Change default text

You'll use the Form Builder's Translate it tab to update the button text. When you change the label in this part of your audience, it will automatically change the text everywhere the button appears.

To change the default button text, follow these steps.

  1. Click Audience.
  2. Click Audience dashboard.
  3. If you have more than one audience, click the Audience drop-down and choose the one you want to work with.
  4. Click the Manage Audience drop-down and choose Signup forms.
  5. Select Form builder.

  6. Click the Forms and response emails drop-down menu, and choose Signup "thank you" page.

  7. Click the Translate it tab above the Form Builder.

  8. In the return to our website field, type in the text you want to appear on the button.
    Cursor types "visit our site" to replace default text.
  9. Click Save Translation Settings.

To change the default text on the Confirmation "thank you" page, follow the same steps above, but choose confirmation "thank you" page on step 4.
