If you're an accountant, use QuickBooks Online Accountant to connect to your clients' accounts. This version of QuickBooks lets you review their books, edit transactions, and fix issues. It also gives you enhanced bookkeeping tools and access to accountant benefits.
QuickBooks Online Accountant is mainly for supporting QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed clients.
Sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant
You can create a new QuickBooks Online Accountant firm directly from our website, or an invite sent by a client.
Tip: Even if you have an existing Intuit user ID, you may want to create a new profile specifically for your firm.

If you've never used QuickBooks
If you don't have an existing user ID, or you want to create a brand new profile for QuickBooks Online Accountant:
- Head over to our website.
- Select the Sign up for free link.
- Follow the steps to create a new firm.
If you already use QuickBooks
If you have an existing user ID, you can create a QuickBooks Online Accountant firm from it.
- Head over to our accountant website.
- Sign in with your user ID and password.
- Follow the on-screen steps to create your firm.
From a client's invite email
If you've never used QuickBooks
- Ask your client to invite you to be their accountant.
- Open the invite email and select the Accept Invitation link.
- Follow the steps to create an account.
When you're finished, you'll have a brand new QuickBooks Online Accountant firm.
If you use QuickBooks
- Ask your client to send the invite to the email address connected to your existing user ID.
Tip: If you want to create a brand new profile, ask them to send it to a different email address. - Open the invite email and select the Accept Invitation link.
- Sign in with your user ID and password.
