Hi there, @amplumbingohio.
Good work for using Internet Explorer and Safari to isolate the issue. The 504 Getaway Timeout error can be caused by the piled cache in your browser. Since other browsers are working fine, I suggest clearing the cache and deleting the history in Google Chrome.

Here are the steps:

1. Open the Google Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Click More tools, then Clear browsing data.
4. Choose a time range.
5. Click Clear data.

You can also check this article for additional help on how to clear the cache.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I’ll be here to help you.

The advice given does not work. Clearing cache doe nothing for the "504 Gateway Time-out" error message.

There appears to be a network issue with logging into Intuit/Quickbooks that Intuits Engineers are working on.

After answering 20 questions the companies automated message, they finally tell you this. This should be the very first thing the phone system says so clients don't spend 10 minutes on the phone choosing options.

I have the same exact issue. Worked fine yesterday and earlier this morning. Then, all of a sudden QB stopped working and isn't allowing me back in. Keep getting the same message 504.

This is so freaking annoying, you guys have no idea. QBO was probably one of the worst ideas our business could have ever had. It is constantly having problems and their customer service most of the times do not know what they're doing. SO TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH QBO.
