i got 10 licence of Quickbooks Desktop few are working on but in a few i am receiving below option please find the attachment file

Thank you for providing a screenshot of the error/issue you encountered.


It might be some of your license numbers are not yet activate that's the reason you're prompted with the message about selecting one of the following options to open the file.


I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the tools to pull your account and enabling all the license to activate them.


  1. Press F1 to open the Help window.
  2. From the search icon, type Contact Support.
  3. Click Contact us at the bottom part.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue about the activation of the license and click the Search button.
  5. You'll be routed with How to connect with a QuickBooks expert and you choose which one is best for you.


  • Message an Agent – Allows you to chat directly with a support agent.
  • Talk to a Specialist – Arranges a callback from a support agent.

Questions regarding QuickBooks activation code would require pulling up your account. Since the Community is a public forum, we're unable to do so. 


Thus, I recommend getting in touch with our support team. This way, they can check your account securely and provide you the activation code. Before diving in, please review our support hours guide to ensure they can assist you right away.

When you're ready, here's how to get started:


  1. Go to this link:
  2. Select QuickBooks Pro/Premier as your product.
  3. Click Search for Something else.
  4. Enter your concern on the Tell us more about your question box, like "needs activation code."
  5. Click the Search button, and then select the Start a Message button.
  6. Fill out the needed info, and then click Submit.

Once you have the validation code, you can now enter it by following the steps below:


  1. Click the Help menu, and then select About QuickBooks (the last option on the menu).
  2. Press Ctrl on your keyboard.
  3. Enter the Validation Code.
  4. Click Next to complete the activation.

In case you want to know your QuickBooks license and product numbers, you can use our locator tool to find them. Also, you can visit the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS) to check your company’s subscription and manage your QuickBooks Desktop product information.
