Re: After using Migrator Tool, the new computer does not show History Forms

Hey there, LTPS.

The Saved Filings menu may not show on the new the data file when it’s saved on a different location or manually moved into the new folder.

Let's find its location so you can copy the information to the updated tax folder. Here's how:

  1. Open your previous QuickBooks and press F2 on your keyboard.
  2. Under the FILE INFORMATION section, copy the company file location and look for it on your computer.

  3. From there, there is a Tax Form History folder. (Ex. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Sample Company Files\QuickBooks 20xx\(Company Name) Tax Form History).

Next, open your computer and then save the file to the new tax folder.

For future reference, I'm also adding an article with detailed information about printing and locating tax forms: Process, print, and save QuickBooks Desktop Payroll tax forms.

Please know that I’m always here if you need anything else. Have a good one.
