First, let's sign in to your account through an incognito/private window. Sometimes the stored cache for an expended period causes unusual behavior to the browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts in opening a private/incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Option+P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+Shift+P

If you're able to run reports with ease via a private/incognito window, then I suggest clearing your cache and cookies. This way, it'll prevent unusual behavior to the browser.

Let's clear the cache in your QuickBooks Desktop app. Let me show you how.

 

In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) desktop app:

  1. Go the Help menu.
  2. Click Reset App Data.
