Anyone else experiencing trouble with Reconciliations? It will not print - can generate and see on screen, but when i try to PDF or print the result is a blank page

Welcome to the Community, @Joe VBS.

 

Let's perform some PDF troubleshooting steps so you can print the reconciliation report successfully.

 

First off, I encourage updating your Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version.

 

If you get the same result, let's repair your Adobe installation. Here's how:

 

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.

  2. Select the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.

  3. Type Control Panel, then press Enter.

  4. Select Programs and Features.

  5. Select Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then Uninstall/Change.

  6. In the Setup dialog box, select Next.

  7. Select Repair, then Next.

  8. Select Install.

  9. When the process is complete, select Finish.

  10. Restart your computer and log back into QuickBooks Online, then try to print the reconciliation report again.

 

If the issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall the Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

I should have mentioned that the problem is with the Desktop App for QB Online.  I just tried using the web site and I was able to print without any problems.  I also tried just normal printing from my account register within the app and I am not able to print. 

 

Sorry if i added confusion by mentioning PDF, I had just tried printing to printer or to PDF as an alternative.  Regardless nothing is generated but a blank page.

Let's clear the apps cache files, doing this helps in fixing any sorts of errors in the system. Let me show you how:

 

In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) desktop app:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstall and reinstall the QBO app. This way, it'll load the recent version and fixes of the application.

Thanks!  I just tried the steps you outlined but its still not working.  Guess I'll have to try removing and re-installing when I get a chance.  For now I guess it'll just have to be the browser version.......
