I have just the clarification you're looking for regarding the License Number and Product code.
No, the account number and License Number are different. If you purchased QuickBooks from a retail store, look for the yellow sticker that came with your setup CD. It contains the License Number and Product code, so just scratch it gently to get them.
However, if you purchased this through us, I'd recommend getting in touch with the Customer Care Team. Not only can they pull up your account in a secure environment and provide both of these numbers, but they'll also assist you with the registration.

It's part of the verification process with our Support Team to verify the contact person listed on the account for security reasons. In your case, I suggest getting back to our QuickBooks Support to have you verified and for them to assist you further.
If you're not part of the contact list, I do suggest having the primary contact to have you verified. For the support's contact information, you may refer to the steps provided by my colleague AldrinS above.
