Are the account number and the license number the same? If not, how do I access my License Number?

I have just the clarification you're looking for regarding the License Number and Product code.

No, the account number and License Number are different. If you purchased QuickBooks from a retail store, look for the yellow sticker that came with your setup CD. It contains the License Number and Product code, so just scratch it gently to get them.

However, if you purchased this through us, I'd recommend getting in touch with the Customer Care Team. Not only can they pull up your account in a secure environment and provide both of these numbers, but they'll also assist you with the registration.

1. Click the link to head to the Official Intuit Contact page.
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
3. Choose the version that you're using.
4. Pick QuickBooks Setup & Navigation, then Activate QuickBooks.
5. At the bottom, click Get Phone Number.

Hi,

I don't have a problem until I get to the activation point.

1. Pick QuickBooks Setup & Navigation, then Activate QuickBooks.
2. at this point I enter my Lic# & Prod # and then it says that this is not the correct #(s). The defined authorized person to the account supposedly hasn't given me the authorization to upgrade. I've contacted her and she has not verified to QB support that I'm authorized. I don't understand all this nonsence. 
3. What can I do to resolve this issue?
