I've got the details you need about changing the font size and color on your QBO screen, @bottieri

The default font size used by the system is 100%. You can manually zoom in and zoom out the display screen to either increase or decrease the font size. To increase it, you can hold the Ctrl key and press the Plus sign (+) on your keyboard simultaneously. To decrease it, go back to your keyboard and press Ctrl and the Minus sign (-)

For the font color, there isn't a way to change it within QBO. However, you can modify it depending on the browser you're using. I'd first recommend adjusting the brightness and contrast level of your computer screen. This can be done by pressing the buttons at the bottom right of your monitor. Then, choose your preferences to make the fonts darker and easier to see.

If you're using Mozilla Firefox, please perform the steps below:

  1. Go to the Menu button at the upper right.
  2. Select Options
  3. In the General panel, choose Language and Appearance
  4. Under Fonts and Colors, click the Colors button.
  5. Select your preferred color.
  6. Hit OK to save the changes.

For Google Chrome:

  1. Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylebot/oiaejidbmkiecgbjeifoejpgmdaleoha?hl=en.
  2. Download the style bot.
  3. You'll be able to change the color of any web page.

Here are the steps for Microsoft Edge:

  1. Go to More actions at the upper right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Choose a Theme, choose either Dark or Light theme.

For Safari:

  1. Go to the Safari menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose Appearance.
  4. Under Standard font, click the Select button.
  5. Choose your desired font color.
  6. Click OK on the Preferences screen.

Also, I know the importance of changing from grey text to your desired color would be a helpful feature. Rest assured that I'll pass your suggestion to our product engineers. They can review and evaluate it for future releases. You can always check out our blog posts to learn more about our product innovations.

Once done, please go back to the screen where you left off to continue performing your tasks. I'd suggest visiting this website: QBO Basics. This link provides you more information about managing your income, expenses, inventory, banking, and your QuickBooks account.

I'll be right here to help if you need anything else. Have a great day, @bottieri

OMG me too! I can't read gray-on-white, and it seems to be every designers favorite color scheme these days. We can't read it and I'm straining my eyes! Please go high-contrast! BLACK text. thank you

Hi jnstelzer,

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the color of the font.

I realized that a grey font can be challenging to you and for some users. I'll take note of your feedback to be considered in future updates. You can also vote and comment on the existing request, so our engineers will know that you also want a darker font.

Let me know if you have other questions in mind. Take care always!

I'm a new QBO user. The thin light grey fonts are horrible. A teenager with perfect vision must have designed that part of the software. The payment page is especially difficult to see. After one day of usage, I'm going back to desktop. I really wanted to like QBO but this is  a dealbreaker. FYI - you can change your display resolution & make the fonts much larger which really helps. But having to switch resolution every time I use QBO is a PITA
