Can I import Square timecards into QuickBooks Online Payroll?

While looking further into this question, I've confirmed that there isn't a way to transfer Square time-cards into QuickBooks Online Payroll. However, there may be another QuickBooks app out there to reach your expectations.

Thank you for the reply. I had confirmed with Square that they don't have an app to move their timecard records to QBO payroll and had confirmed with QBO that they don't have an app for importing Square timecards. All they could suggest is that there might be some third-party app out there that connects the two, or at the very least allows for the import of an Excel file of Square timecard data into QBO payroll. Any suggestions in that regard?

QuickBooks Online integrates with thousand of third-party apps, Les-HCA.

Although, we're unable to recommended a specific one. You can always visit our QuickBooks Apps website for the list of third-party apps that can you select.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, the article about importing to QBO had nothing about importing to QBO payroll. I've done a number of searches in the QBO app library. Nothing found there that indicates it has the capability to import to QBO payroll. If you encounter something specific, please get back to me.

Since the option to import Square timecards is unavailable, you'll want to manually add the them in QuickBooks through Single time activity (for entering or editing a single day or event at a time) or Weekly timesheet (for entering or viewing activities over several days).
