Can't locate / can't read "License Data" after cloning hard drive contents onto a new & larger physical HD
Just completed an otherwise fully successful clone of the contents of my 500GB SSD onto a larger size 1TB SSD because I needed the larger storage space for a new set of vacation & family photos, etc. All seemed to be successful excepting that QuickBooks now won't start showing this error message: "Could not initialize license properties" [Error 3371, StatusCode -11118] QuickBooks could not load the license data. This may be caused by missing or damaged files. Click here to troubleshoot"
When I do the Click Here to get into the promised Intuit information page, I only get a "File not found" reply.
I have have a full data file backup available from the end of last successful work session because I always do this action in expectation of some HD or file fault.
Version is QuickBooks 2018 Pro installed 2019_04_20 and used successfully since then.
