In QB for desktop, I can print my company name and address when I print checks.

How do I do this in QB online?

Check Printing

Good day, mottconcord.

Welcome to the Online Community. I’ll be sure to point you in the right direction so you can print checks with your company information.

At this time, the option to print the company’s name and address directly on the check is unavailable in QBO. To show these details when printing checks, you may want to consider purchasing pre-printed checks in our QuickBooks Checks & Supplies site.

You can visit them through this link: https://intuitmarket.intuit.com/checks.

To help manage your time efficiently while learning the new program, I’m including a link to our video tutorials in QuickBooks Online.

Reach out to me directly if you have additional questions about working in QBO. I'll be happy to help. Have a great day ahead.

Hello.

Why is this not a feature in QBO?  I’m astounded at how little functionality it has.  What is a work-around?  How can this be added? This is a key security feature.

Thank you.

I have the same question and concerns...printing company name and address should be a "Basic" feature. I recently bought checks for several of my companies...looks like I will have to buy a stamp with company name and address...looks cheesy but only way around it without spending more unnecessary  $$$$.

When will this feature possibly be added? Or is it even on the radar for Intuit?

Check Printing

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 while using QB18.  Prior to this upgrade I had no issues printing checks to my dot matrix printer.  Since the upgrade I can print invoices, reports, etc on this printer, but not checks.  Thoughts....(I do not like hand writing checks!)

Check Printing

Hello everyone.

We appreciate you coming in with us today. I'm here to add some information about your concerns.

As mentioned by my collegue @RasalilaM, there isn't a way to print company's name and address on checks. I would also love to see this feature soon on our next update. For now, I recommend sending this great suggestion to our product engineers by clicking on the Gear icon and choosing Feedback.

You may also want to send your product suggestion through this link: http://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/168199.

All request will be reviewed by our dedicated engineers and you can encourage other people to vote on your feedback as well.

On the otherhand, let share with you the easiest way to manually fix your issue with printing checks. But before we begin troubleshooting, let's make sure to have your QuickBooks Desktop updated to the latest release version.

Once done, we can start renaming the the Qbprint.qbp file. This step is used to resolved unexpected results when printing transactions or reports in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Locate the QBPrint.qbp.
  3. Right-click QBprint.qbp file for your QuickBooks version and select Rename.
  4. Add the word old to the file name (i.e. QBPrint.qbp.old).
  5. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  6. From File menu, select Printer Setup.
  7. Select any transaction in the Form Name list and select OK.
  8. This will create a new QBprint.qbp file.
  9. Open and print any transaction.

This article provides detailed steps on how to rename the Qbprint.qbp file: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1774261.

Now, you can try printing checks again. If the same issue happens, please refer to this article for additional steps: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1762983.

Should you have any other questions about printing checks in QuickBooks, just let me know and I'd be pleased to help.
