Converting a Quickbooks 2016 Mac File to PC without using Quickbooks for Mac to convert the file beforehand

We recently had our old Mac laptop fail and we will be buying a PC.  We are going to get the latest version of Quickbooks for PC and we want to convert the Mac Quickbooks 2016 file to PC.  The tricky part is this, because the Mac is dead, we can get the file off, but we cannot access Quickbooks to do use the convert the current Quickbooks file to PC.  We do not have access to a Mac with Quickbooks either, although we do have a very old mac which can at least remove the file off of a back up disk so that we can email it to our new computer.  My question is, is there a way to use or convert the file so that it is useable for the new PC with Quickbooks without opening and converting on a Mac with Quickbooks (2016 or later) first?  Even if there was some loss of information, this would be very helpful; we have called around and have not yet found anyone who has a Mac and an updated Quickbooks who can help.  Thanks.

You may purchase the QBD 2021 license, then contact Support and ask Data Service to convert your QBD Mac file. Otherwise you have to purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

Thank you do much, that is very helpful.  I talked with a very helpful tech support today and it seemed that was the only option other than finding a Mac with QuickBooks.  I appreciate the quick and detailed response.
