Thanks for choosing QuickBooks for your business, mwillis.

I can help you migrate your company data in your QuickBooks Desktop.

QuickBooks follows a specific file format. For your transactions to migrate successfully make sure your Excel spreadsheets have the correct header placement. For your guide, you can refer to this article: IIF Overview.

Once you have your file ready, you can follow the steps below in migrating your company:

  1. Open and sign into your QuickBooks as the Admin.
  2. Make sure you are in Single User mode.
  3. Click File.
  4. Choose Utilities.
  5. Select Import and click IIF Files.
  6. Locate your .IIF file and highlight it then select Open.
  7. Select OK on the pop up message confirming your data has been imported.

That's it. Let me know if there's anything else you need or you have other questions. I'd be happy to answer them all for you. Have a blissful day!

You indicate you are familiar with processes and steps to accurately convert BW data to QBE importable format.  Can you assist or direct me to a third party conversion company to perform such a service?

How do I contact you or them?
