Converting QB 2019 Pro to QB Online

I have signed up for QB Online and am currently using QB Pro 2019. I chose the "Export you company file to Quickbooks Online". It brought up another window but I cannot scroll down on that window to see further instruction on migrating. What do you suggest? I called the support but after 45 min and a sketchy "Glance" call I hung up

Converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online is quick and easy, jmastroianni.

Please check out this article for the detailed steps: Move Your QuickBooks Desktop File to QuickBooks Online.

Although there are some limitations that you have to keep in mind before you begin.

  • Multi-currency is turned on.
  • You have build assemblies in inventory.
  • You use units of measure in inventory.
  • You have more than 350,000 transactions.

You can also check what are those data that don't migrate to QuickBooks Online: What To Expect When You Switch form Desktop to Online.

Excuse me, Quickbooks support team, it is NOT quick and easy.  Please apologize for your condescending comment.  If it were "quick and easy," it would be done already. We have followed your instructions.  We sat on the phone with your support team for almost an hour today.  No resolution.  Please reply directly to my comment instead of sending a canned response.  You have no problems taking our money, but the support is lacking.

@jmastroianni

Just to clarify 2 points below:

1. Do you need to migrate from QBD 2019 US version to QBO US version?

https:// quickbooks.grsm.io/US

https:// quickbooks.grsm.io/us-promo

2. Open your company file and hit f2. Make sure your Total Targets < 350K. Otherwise, run the Condense Data utility to make it lower.

If the file has more than 350,000 targets,  you may need a Supercondense service first through a reliable 3rd party and then you should be able to migrate the data. PM me if you need more information.
