Re: Copy Company File for QuickBooks for Mac. Not available

Hello Ehsan58,

The Copy Company File for QuickBooks Mac option is only available for QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier.

For QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, you'll need to export your company file as Intuit Interchange Format (.IIF).

  1. Log in to the company file as the Admin and ensure you're in Single User Mode.
  2. Click File at the top menu and select Utilities > Export > Lists to IIF Files....
  3.  Mark the items you want to export and click OK.
  4. Save the file.

After that, you can import it to your QuickBooks for Mac. Here are some references that might help:

You can also look for a third-party application online that can convert the file directly from Desktop to Mac.

Our Technical Support Team might also be a help in converting your file, too. Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Click Help at the top menu and select Support.
  2. Scroll-down and select Contact us.
  3. In the first section, select Search for something else.
  4. Enter a short detail about your concern like "convert company file" and click Search.
  5. Go to the second section and select how you want to reach them (phone or chat).

I got you if you have further questions about converting your file.

hi @Ehsan58 ,

You may ask Intuit Data Service to convert it. Otherwise, you have to purchase a 3d party conversion service. PM me for details
