Hi
I just converted my QB Desktop to Online. BUT the import / conversation does not SHOW MY INVOICE DATES, on any of my invoices?
How do Get my INVOICE DATES???
thx!
Welcome to the Community, jdelster.
Since your invoice dates aren't displaying correctly while viewing invoices, I'd recommend I'd recommend checking your browser. It's possible this could have something to do with temporary internet files. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes they can cause issues with certain webpages. You can open a private window and check to see if invoice dates are displayed on invoices properly.
Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:
If invoices are displaying correctly while browsing privately, it's safe to say this problem's being caused by your browser. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.
In the event invoice dates continue not displaying while browsing in incognito mode, you'll initially want to try switching to another browsing application.
Here's a list of supported browsers
You can also check a browser's compatibility with QuickBooks by utilizing our browser health checkup tool. QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers. If you find that you're using an unsupported version, make sure to update it to its latest release. Steps for doing so can be found on the particular company's website.
In the event you've found no problems that could be causing this with your browser, you'll want to check the operating system and internet speed you're working with.
Here's our recommended operating systems and internet speeds:
If you meet our system requirements, but invoice dates still aren't showing properly, I'd recommend using a different device and/or internet connection. If it continues happening on other devices and internet connections, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
They can be reached while you're signed in.
Here's how:
Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
I've also included a detailed resource about system requirements for QuickBooks which may come in handy moving forward: System requirements

Hi.. Doesn't seem like browser issue - there is NO DATE column on any of my imported invoices. For customers in QB Desktop file that was imported
thx
Thank you for getting back to this thread, Jdelster. Let me share some information and walk you through the process of getting the date field to show on your invoices.
When transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO), you may see some differences in your books due to the different terminology used for menu options, features, lists, items, transaction types, reports, and other labels.
By default, QBO uses the old template, which doesn’t include the date column. If you’re referring to the Date column as the Service Date in the Invoice window, switching to the New or Modern template will make the date column visible.
Keep in mind that in QBO, the Invoice Date refers to when the product or service is made or delivered, while the Invoice Date indicates when the invoice is sent to the customer.
To switch to the new Modern view for invoices in QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:
If the issue persists, the best solution is to contact our Customer Support for another workaround. You can check out the Customer Support link for the detailed steps and the direct phone number at the bottom: Contact QuickBooks Online Support.
