You can convert your company data from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop (Windows) before you can convert it back to your QuickBooks Desktop Mac.

Let's start from exporting your company data from online to desktop. To do so, you'll have to download a trial version of QuickBooks Desktop (Windows) first. Once done, here's how you can export your data:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
3. Select Moving to QuickBooks Desktop.
4. Click Get started.

Once your company data is ready to download, you can open it in the rial version of your desktop (windows) and follow the steps below to convert it back to your desktop (Mac).

1. Go to File.
2. Select Utilities.
3. Click Copy Company File for QuickBooks Mac.

There is no direct path yet converting QBO to QBD for Mac. You have to migrate to QBD Windows as a bridge. If you hit the wall, consider purchasing a 3rd party migration service. It costs $450 for 2 working days.
