Join nowI just installed MacOS 10.12 Sierra and when I tried to launch QB 2015 for Mac I received the message "You can't use this version of the application 'QuickBooks 2015' with this version of MacOS. I am surprised that Intuit did not notify licensed users of QuickBooks 2015 for Mac that even though the developer beta had been out for months Intuit has not updated QuickBooks 2015 to run on it. Is there a way to be notified when this update comes out. If so how would I do this. As of now I am unable to use QuickBooks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Update is out. You can download it from here if you are already on Sierra (or you can run QuickBooks->Check For Updates if you are not)

We are working on an update to 2015 and it should be available soon.
Keep in mind that Apple has disabled the memory management scheme used by QuickBooks Mac 2015 and earlier. We worked for three years to address this in QuickBooks Mac 2016. We spent most of the Sierra beta cycle making sure QuickBooks Mac 2016 was ready. But 2015 is also being worked on and it should be released soon.
