Does the QuickBooks Self-Employed include access to, and use of, the QuickBooks mobile app?

I'd like to be able to scan/photo receipts from my cell phone.

I appreciate you for getting back to us here in the Community. I can help you log into your account using the QuickBooks app.

 

It may be possible that you installed the wrong QuickBooks application on your device. There's a specific app you need to download for Self-Employed.

 

You can use these links to download the app:

 

 

After the download and installation, you can use the same login credentials you've entered on the signup process.

 

I've also attached an article you can use to learn how to record track your income and expenses, track mileage, and prepare your Schedule C in QuickBooks Self-Employed: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Hi there, @info-wetraincons.

 

Yes, using QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app lets you access your photos to take a shot or open your gallery to attach a file. 

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Log in to your mobile app.
  2. From the Transactions menu, press the Plus icon. 
  3. Tap Snap receipt
  4. Take a photo then press Use this photo and select Save.

 

You can also click the transaction from the Transactions menu and press Attach receipt to link the photo.

When I try to log onto the QuickBooks mobile app, i get an error message that says:  "Looks like your account doesn't include access to the QuickBooks Online mobile app".  I double-checked, and I did sign up for, and get a receipt for, QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

What do i do now?
