Don't care for the new "white on black" left-side menu, can I change it back? It's difficult to read.

Hi there, @wkenzb4me.

The November update for QuickBooks Online has brought a change to the workflow, as well as the dashboard view. Customizing the color scheme of the dashboard in QuickBooks Online is a great idea to personalize the look and feel of each company you have.

The option to change it back to its old view or modify the dashboard's view isn't currently available. But I'll pass your suggestion along to the Product Development Team. They may consider adding it to our future updates.

Keep an eye out for updates and new releases, like this type of customization, at the QuickBooks Blog. You can also use it as reference while working with QBO: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/blog/.

Also, for an overview of this update, including the new workflow, sales tax filing, and profit and loss report enhancement, please see the following article: What's new in QuickBooks Online: November 2019.

The Community has your back, so don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of additional assistance. Wishing you well.

Too bad, it's difficult to read.  Could the white letters at least be Bold?

Thank you for the quick reply, @wkenzb4me

Though the option to make the font on the left panel of the dashboard is not available, you can change the font size in your browser for better viewing. Please take note that this will work on any page, not just QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. On the upper right, go to the menu icon (looks like a three-dotted line).
  2. Locate the Zoom option.
  3. Choose the plus (+) icon to zoom in and make the page larger. It should be set to 100% or lower to display the full page.

As always, you can visit our Help Articles page for QuickBooks Online if in case you need to learn some "How do I" steps.

I'm just a few clicks away if you should have any other questions. Wishing you and your business success. .
