Enterprise 22 and POS 19 compatibility

I want to make sure your Point of Sale (POS) will work in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise 2022 as quickly as possible, @brian_gaspar.

I'll share some information about the QBDT and POS system requirements to guide you accordingly. 

System requirements are dominant in running various programs. As I've checked the POS 2019 compatibility, only QBDT versions 2017 to 2021 are compatible. For more details, check this article: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 19.0.

With this, I'd recommend getting in touch with either our POS or QBDT experts. They have troubleshooting steps that need to be configured into your account to roll it back. Michelle, it seems, from the link you provided previously,  that QBDT Enterprise 22 is still not compatible with QB POS 19.

Do you know if QB ever plans to make these work together?

You're correct about the compatibility. At the moment, we're unable to provide a time frame when this option will be available for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2022. 

You can send a suggestion to our product developers. They'll review this idea and might consider updating it in the future.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to Help located at the top.
2. Select Send Feedback Online > Product Suggestion.
3. Enter your request and click Send Feedback.

In addition, I'd recommend looking for a third-party app that integrates well with QuickBooks Desktop 2022. Feel free to visit this page: QuickBooks Desktop Apps.

I understand that not everything can be compatible. The solution would be offering 2021 for purchase till you figure out how to make it compatible.

What's crazy is pushing an end of service date, and then forcing upgrades to a noncompatible software (2022)
