If you don't see the alerts on the bank's website, you might need to disable your pop-up blocker, 10percentclothing.

The pop-up is usually displayed right beside the website's URL. When you click it, just select the radio button for Always allow pop-ups from (website), and then select Done.

If you've done this step and still didn't get any alerts, kindly update your bank inside QBO.

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Update.

Let's start from here and see if these steps remove the error code. Please keep me updated with the results by replying to this thread.

I am having the same issue.  I manage 2 accounts.  They both forced me to update my connection and now I am stuck with code 108.  I actually disconnected the accounts and now I am trying to reestablish a connection but I keep getting code 108 message.  No message on my bank's website. My pop-up blocker is disabled.  I can't update my bank because my connection is not active.  What now?

Hi bradd1234,

Allow me to jump in to this thread. We received reports from some users that they are getting error code 108. It's an error that prompts them to take action when logged in to their bank's website.

Since you can't see this prompt, it might be that your one of the affected users. In that case, I would recommend contacting our phone support specialists. They'll be able to add your account in our list for investigation.

Here's how to get our phone number:

  1. Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Click on Solving issues & error messages and click on Banking.
  4. Select Online banking connection errors
  5. Click on Get Phone Number

I'll be right here if you have any questions.
