We currently have an ongoing investigation with the error message on the Projects window. Our engineers are running some diagnostics to identify what's causing this unexpected hitch to provide a permanent and timely fix.
If you haven't contacted our Phone Support Team, I suggest doing so. They can add your account to our notification list to receive live updates when fix is available. Provide the investigation number INV-38910.
To contact support:
Click the (?) Help menu at the top right section of your QBO Dashboard.
Tap the Contact us button.
In the meantime, open your account in Private mode and see if it works for you. This method prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser problems.
Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:
Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: press Command + Shift + N
Every time I create a new project and try and log a expense or invoice I keep getting an error that says, "Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. Please try again."
There is a report that this error will be fixed by editing the project, hayleyb0788.
Let's add some details on the project like Notes or special character in the Project name.
Go to Projects tab.
Under Actions column, click on Options drop-down and select Edit this project.
Once done, let's Save it and add a new transaction to see if it works. We can just delete those details we've added if everything's good.
