How do I export the additional contact information from Quickbooks?
I went into reports, customer lists, customize report, added primary and secondary contact columns but there is no option for additional contacts.

I'm glad to let you know that you can use the Intuit Interchange Format (.IIF) files to both export and import QuickBooks Desktop data. Before exporting the data, make sure to log in to your company file as the Administrator and you’re in a Single-User mode.

Right now, you can only export report for primary and secondary contacts in QuickBooks Desktop. Since exporting customer data for additional contact is currently unavailable, I recommend you send feedback straight to our product development team.
In the meantime, you can enter them on the exported Excel file manually. This will help us know what product feature/option works best for your business.
You can send your feedback by following these steps:
1. Click the Help tab at the top menu bar.
2. Select Send Feedback Online.
3. Click Product Suggestion.
4. Enter your suggestion.
5. Click Send Feedback.

As mentioned by my colleague, pulling up the details entered under the primary and secondary contact is currently unavailable. The report only shows Customer’s information and the name of the Secondary and Primary Contact.
You have to go to the Customer Center page to view the details. Here’s how:

I am also looking for an answer to this. You show a picture of how to view the additional contact information in customer center but how do you export that information out? If I am wanting to use those emails for email marketing there is no way to get that exported out and it is not feasible to go thru each and every customer manually. What is the best way to get this out? Is it a 3rd party program or what?

We can only export and pull up customer's main information, as mentioned by my colleagues above. These are the Primary and Secondary contact information.
You can check out our list of third party apps in the App Center. From there, you can view how the app works and a few reviews from other customers.

Yes I understand how do use that but the "additional contacts" is impossible to export the "email" address associated with primary and secondary in the additional contacts as Mel had mentioned in the earlier part of this post.
Currently, there isn’t a way to export your customer’s additional contact information.
Also, the only information you can export are those which are entered in your customer’s main contact information.
In the meantime, you can follow the steps given by my colleague above to view the additional contact information for your customer.

Thank you for your input. I do know how to view the information for additional contacts. I was able to export this data using the "Advance Reporting" feature or our QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.
I plan on submitting a recommendation to the support to make this process easier as the Advance Reporting is pretty complex and non-user friendly for the daily user.

We have been requesting this option for 7 years now. Still can't export it unless you know how to use ODBC or you pay a third party to do it. This should be fixed by now. Every other program let's you export all information at least to an excel spreadsheet. Let's get this fixed!
