For months now I get an "Error Loading" message every time I try to use QB. This needs to be fixed. Do you have plans to fix it ??

Hi kevineavesdrywal,

 

You can uninstall and reinstall the app so you can sign in to your account without any error. Let me walk you through how.

 

To uninstall:

  1. Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Applications folder to the Trash.
  2. To completely remove the app, go to Finder then choose Empty Trash.

To reinstall:

  1. Select the QuickBooks.dmg file in the downloads section.
  2. Drag QuickBooks to the Applications folder.
  3. From the Applications folder, launch the QuickBooks App and the program will load to the sign-on page.

This could be a browser-related issue. Let's access your account via a private or incognito window to confirm it. Stored data from your browser can cause unusual behavior.

 

Here are the shortcut keys to access a private or incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're able to use your QuickBooks Online (QBO) via a private or incognito window, then, we'll have to clear your regular browser cache. This way, it'll prevent unusual behavior to your browser and optimize it's performance.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend trying another browser.

I am using the Quickbooks App (Version 4.0.9-35 (4.0.9-35.35)) on my MacBook Pro.  It used to work fine but now I have to sign out and sign back in after the computer sleeps.  Previously it worked fine.  Also, the app does not ask me to sign in.  It just gives me error messages.  I have to sign out and sign in with typing in my entire password every time.  This is costing me valuable time and I am paying over $700 per year for this app.

So far this seemed to mostly work.  I still get the error message after the computer sleeps but if I close and reopen the app it seems to work fine.  Not perfect but much better than clearing cache and re signing in every time !!   Thanks
